What is an “orifice”?
Orifices (sensitive orifices) are places on the body where the skin covering is interrupted. They include: the mouth, the nose, eyes, the anus, the urethra and vagina, the skin’s own orifices (sebaceous, sweat, and milk glands, hair follicles, and pores), and the navel.
